A big part of wine "tasting" is the aroma from the wine, or the "bouquet". Wearing perfume or cologne, or
after-shave or even sun tan lotion can interfere with your enjoyment of the wine, and also with other people
in the tasting room. So you should minimize the use of anything that might have an odor.
